VOTING GUIDELINES
Each member may vote for up to 4 photos after viewing the gallery of entries online. After confirming your votes, send them to Tom and Bo via E-mail. Just vote for your favorites, in no particular order. You do not have to vote for 4. You may vote for only one, or two or three or four! But please do vote, we need your participation. We would like to discourage voting for your self. If you vote for your self, please limit it to just one vote. The same philosophy should also apply to spouses. Its fine to vote for family, just remember to spread the love...Your vote should reflect the spirit of the club, which is sharing and learning...Not necessarily winning!

JUDGING GUIDELINES

Every member should try to judge the photos with some basic photographic judging criteria. The better informed on judging we are, the more we can benefit from the competitions.
Some things to keep in mind are: Proper exposure: Under exposed or over exposed, artistic use of negative space with creative strobe placement and camera angles. Focus: Has the photographer tried for selective focus on key elements that help the composition, perhaps making the subject pop by using a wide aperture to blur the back ground.
Composition: Look for use of basic elements such as the rule of thirds, leading lines, natural framing of the subject, creative viewpoint, etc.
Color composition: Has the photographer tried to use complimentary colors in the shot.
Visual impact: Do you feel a certain mood or a particular emotion when you see the photo? Joy, empathy, fear...If you do then the picture works, for you.
Most of all, remain objective and do not consider who might have taken the shot.
