Bob Owens

Bob Owens has been a diver since 1966 and has been taking UW photographs since he bought a Nikonos II in 1968. He has spent the vast majority of that time shooting here in Hawaii, but has made numerous trips to virtually all the world's great diving destinations, the most recent being the Red Sea. He was President of the Hawaii Underwater Photographic Society in Honolulu in the early '90s. He was one of the three members to put together the Kona Underwater Photographic Society in 1996 and served as its first President. Bob tries to dive at least once a week, more if he can.
